Tom Wilson scored twice and saved a goal from his own net as Washington got by the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-4 to tie up their first round playoff series at two games each......Bobby Ryan scored early in the third period and Craig Anderson stopped 22 shots for his fourth career postseason shutout as Ottawa shut out Boston 1-0 to take a 3 games to 1 lead....Anaheim eliminated Calgary in four straight after 3-1 win and Minnesota staved off elimination with a 2-0 win over St. Louis. The Blues now lead the series 3 games to 1.

The Saint John Sea Dogs begin their semifinal against Chicoutimi tomorrow night at Harbour Station starting at 7:00.

In basketball at Harbour Station, the Island Storm took down the Saint John Riptide 104-92. Gabe Freeman led the Riptide with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

In the Majors, Francisco Liriano and three relievers combined on a six hitter with Darwin Barney hitting a two run single and the Toronto Blue Jays shut out the Boston Red Sox 3-0.....Aaron Judge hit a homer  halfway up the bleachers and Masahiro Tanaka pitched seven innings of one run ball as the New York Yankees beat up on the Chicago White Sox 9-1. At the Under 18 Curling Championships in Moncton, in girl's play, New Brunswick, represented by the Justine Comeau rink from Fredericton, remains undefeated at 3 and 0 after a 7-1 win over B-C.....Among the boys, the Liam Marin rink from Saint John, representing New Brunswick, is now 2 and 2 after wins over the Northwest Territories, 11-4 and Ontario, 4-3.
