A benefit spaghetti dinner will be held for David "Bucky" Rodgers, this Saturday, April 8th, at the Topsfield Elementary School. Doors open at 4pm. A fundraiser Easter Breakfast will be happening at the Anglican Community Hall in St. Andrews in support of the Passamaquoddy Children's Center, Saturday, April 8th. 1st seating is at 8:30, 2nd seating at 10am. Serving pancakes and sausages. They will have an Egg Hunt at 9:30am, facepainting, and a craft table. Rain or shine. Tickets are $5 for kids ages 5 to 12, $10 for adults, Kids under 5 get in free, or get a family rate for $20. Tickets are available at the Passamaquoddy children's centre, 390 Montague Street, or at the door. Proceeds go to support the PCC's Arts & Crafts supplies visual arts program.
CARMA Charlotte County will hold their first fundraiser of the year at Sunbury Shores in St. Andrews. From April 11th to the 13th, Tuesday through Thursday, the Art for Cats show will feature donated paintings from local artists. Check them out from 10-4 each day. On Saturday, April 15th, CARMA's annual Spring Cat event will be open from noon to 4pm. There will be a silent auction, bake sale, cat store cat toys, nap pads, and free snacks.
The Oak Bay Firefighters are gearing up for the annual Firefighter Rooftop Campout. Starting Friday, April 14th, until Saturday, April 15th, from 5pm to 5pm. The Oak Bay Fire crew will be camping out on the rooftop of the St. Stephen Canadian Tire for 24 hours, raising money for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
