May 26th
The SSHS We Group will be doing their final initiative of the year with a Touch-A-Truck Fundraiser for the Volunteer Centre of Charlotte County Food Bank. In partnership with Downey Ford, the students need to keep one hand on the truck for so many hours. The event will be taking place Friday, May 26th, from 1:30-6pm, weather permitting, in the Superstore parking lot. The students will be accepting donations to purchase Superstore giftcards for the food bank.

May 26th and 27th
The St. Croix Public Library is having a Big Book Sale, Friday, May 26th from 9-6, and again on Saturday, May 27th, from 9-5pm. King Street in St. Stephen. Get a hard cover or soft cover fiction and non-fiction for $1. Pocketbooks and children's book are 25 cents, or 5 for $1. For more information, call the Library at 466-7574.

May 27th
St. Patrick's Hall in St. Stephen will hold a Flea Market, Saturday, May 27th, from 9-2pm. Located at 407 Milltown Blvd. For more information call Barry at 466-1318.

May 27th
A Fundraiser for the St Andrews Food Bank will be held Saturday, May 27th, from 11-4pm at the Church of Saint Andrew Catholic Church parish hall, located at 212 Parr Street. Food, music, chinese auction and a silent auction. A wishing well will also be set up for cash or gift card donations. Tax receipts are available upon request. It's a free event and everyone is welcome.

May 28th
Ronny Hinson & the Freedom Road Band will be performing live in concert at 2 different churches in Saint John, Sunday, May 28th. 10:30am at the Renewed Hope Church of God on Loch Lomond Road, and again at 6:30pm at the Full Gospel Assembly on Mount Pleasant Avenue. May 30th
The St. Croix Vocational Center is inviting you to an Open House, Tuesday, May 30, from 11am-3pm. Located at 129 Union Street, in St. Stephen. Meet the clients, learn about the services they offer, enjoy a tour of the facility, and hear about their new programs. Refreshments will be served. June 1st
The Lumber River Quartet will be performing in concert at the Second Baptist Church on Thursday, June 1st. Located at 21 Church Street in Calais, concert starts at 6:30 eastern time. A love offering will be accepted. For more information call 454-4433.

June 2nd
98.1 The Tide is proud to be the official radio sponsor of the St. Stephen Relay for Life. Join us on June 2nd, from 6pm to 12midnight at the Relay for Life's new home, the Garcelon Civic Center. Live entertainment that night from The Boothill Band, Ron Hall, Dave Humphrey, 29 & Holding, and from Mark Downey and 98.1 The Tide.

June 3rd
The Emergency Food Bank of the Volunteer Center and the Charlotte County SPCA are coming together for a joint fundraiser Plant Sale. Saturday, June 3rd, from 8am-noon at the Border Arena parking lot on King Street in St. Stephen. For more information, or if you would like to donate plants, call 466-3074.

June 3rd
98.1 The Tide presents Russell deCarle from Prairie Oyster, and his CD Release of "Alone in the Crowd" , Saturday, June 3rd, at the Garcelon Civic Center in St. Stephen. Featuring special guests Tyler Deveau and Eloie Richard. Doors open at 7:30, show starts at 8. Tickets are $20 in advance, or $25 at the door. Tickets are available at the Garcelon Civic Center, or by calling 467-3030.

June 4th
A benefit for Keri Lyons will be held Sunday, June 4th, at the Magaguadavic Centre in St. George, starting at 2pm. Bring a goodwill donation of $5 or $20 for a family. Harper's Exotic Animals in partnership with the Town of St. George will be putting on a show with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Keri and her young son Kayden, who lost their home and all of their possessions in a fire.

June 10th
The Boys & Girls Club of Charlotte County are hosting the Ultimate Washer Tournament, a fundraiser on Saturday, June 10th, at the St. Stephen Ball Field and Legion. Pre-registration is required by June 9th. Food, drinks, and dancing to follow with DJ Bob Hamel. Entry fee is $40 per team. If your team raises more than $80 in pledges, your entry fee will be waived. Dance fee is $5. Pledge sheets are available at the Club. Must be 19 years of age or older. June 11th
A Fundraising concert for the NB Country Music Hall of Fame Gala 2017 will be held at the St. Stephen Legion, Sunday, June 11th, from 6:30-9pm. Performing are Running Out Of Time, Gary Morris, Ivan and Vivian Hicks, Reg Gallant, Claudette Norman, and many more. Tickets are $10, available from any member of Running Out Of Time.

June 17th
A Candy Land Carnival will be held at the Blacks Harbour Wesleyan Church, Saturday, June 17th, from 11-2pm. Games, prizes, candy, guessing games, facepainting, photobooth, temporary tattoos, and you get 24 free game tickets. An additional 24 tickets can be purchased for $2. June 17th and 18th
Turning Back Time - A historical reenactment will be taking place at the Ganong Nature Park, Saturday and Sunday, June 17th and 18th, from 10am-5pm daily. Located at 350 Todd's Point Road, just outside of St. Stephen. Cost is $5 per vehicle, per day. For details, visit the Ganong Nature Park Facebook page.

June 22nd

July 2-6th
The Union Street Atlantic Baptist Church in St. Stephen is hosting a "Galactic Star-veyors Vacation Bible School". It will run Sunday through Thursday, July 2nd to the 6th, from 6-8pm. For ages 4 to Grade 6. Visit Galactic Starveyors on Facebook or call 466-3777.

July 22nd
On Saturday, July 22, A March for Jesus will take place in St George. The March will start at 2 pm from St George Elementary School and wind up at Maguagadavic place, with food, music, and fellowship to follow. Everyone is welcome to join in.

Aug 4, 5, 6
The 2017 Rally in the St. Croix Valley is set for August 4th, 5th, and 6th, at the St. Stephen Legion. Featuring the Parade of Lights, vendors, live music, guided ride, poker run, show and shine, beer garden, and the Elimination Draw. 1st prize: choose between a 2017 Harley Davidson Road King or a 2017 Polaris 900 Side by Side. 2nd prize $1000, 3rd prize is a Harley jacket at $200 cash. Only 800 tickets sold. All draw proceeds benefit veterans charities. For tickets, call 754-5348.
