Gateway Cathedral would like to invite you to their Easter production of “Jesus” over the Easter weekend. Shows will be held on Good Friday, March 30, Saturday, March 31, and Easter Sunday, April 1, all beginning at 7pm. Located at 18 West Street in St. Stephen. For details call 466-2503.
The 5th Annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at the Magaguadavic Place in St. George, will be this Saturday, March 31, from 9:30 – 11am. Serving toast, fruit, snacks and juice. You can even get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Cost is a donation for the Backpack Blessings & Beyond. For more information call 321-0453.
The Kiwanis Club of St. Andrews is holding an Easter Egg Hunt, this Sunday, April 1. The hunt will take place at the St. Andrews Fire Station at 80 Reed Avenue. Doors open at 2pm sharp. Free admission, donations will be accepted for the food bank.
You have the power to give life. Canadian Blood Services is holding a St. Stephen Community Blood Drive on Monday, April 2, at the St. Stephen Legion at 43 Queen Street. The blood drive will be open from 4:30-8:30pm. Walk-ins and new donors are always welcome. If you would like to book an appointment, go online to blood.ca.
A FREE Community Easter Dinner will be held on Easter Monday, April 2, at the Anglican Parish Hall, 75 King Street in St. Andrews, beginning at 3pm. If you would like to attend, please RSVP by calling the Parish Office at 529-8662. You can also call the Parish office if you would like to volunteer or donate. In partnership with the St. Andrews Open Door Program. The dinner is open to the whole community and everyone is welcome.
The United Catholic Women's (UCW) New to You Yard Sale will be held Saturday, April 7, at the Kirk McColl United Church in St. Stephen. 9-1pm. Something there for everyone. Proceeds go back to the church. For more information call 466-4811.
Gospel singers James and Starla Dean will be performing at the Second Baptist ChurchSaturday, April 7th, at 6:30pm eastern time. Located at 21 Church Street in Calais. Join in on a night of music followed by food and fellowship. A love offering will be taken. For more info, call Pam at 454-4433.
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #9 will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, April 7, at the St. Stephen Legion, beginning at 6pm. Tickets are $10 each. All proceeds go to the Legion. For tickets call Nancy at 466-1924.
Gateway Cathedral will hold a Gaither-style Hymn sing and Lunch on Saturday, April 14, downstairs at Gateway Cathedral, 18 West Street in St. Stephen. Beginning at 7pm. Entertainers include the Valley Gospel Singers, Claudette Norman, Ron Hall, Gregg Dunn, The Leemans, and more. Donations would be appreciated for the St. Stephen Food Bank.
Come to the St. Stephen Legion on Saturday April 14, for the Lions Fisherman's Breakfast. Located at 43 Queen Street, breakfast will be held from 7-10am. Serving eggs, toast, ham, beans, potato patties, and refreshments. A freewill offering at the door, as well as 50/50 tickets, a door prize, and a table where you can purchase books. A Relay for Life Open House will be held Monday, April 16, at Humphrey's Funeral Home, beginning at 6pm. Calling all new, interested, and returning Relay Team Captains and individuals who want to register. The St. Stephen Relay for Life will be held June 1st at the Garcelon Civic Center. The open house is a great way to get involved and find all the information you need. To register your team, you can also call Jeanine Fowler at 467-5039.
Come check out the Crafting For A Cause Sale and Expo and support special needs adults in our community. The Expo will be held at the St. Stephen Legion, Sunday, April 22nd, from 10am to 3pm. Lots of vendors, local artisans, and small businesses. There will also be Free crafts for kids to make while the Moms shop. A Yard Sale will be held at the Dewolfe Corner Hall on Saturday, May 19th, from 8am -12noon. Located on Route 3, civic number #7867. Proceeds will go towards hall maintenance.
The 16th Annual St. Stephen Relay for Life is set for Friday, June 1st, from 6-10pm at the Garcelon Civic Center. Be part of the biggest cancer fundraiser and make the biggest impact in the fight against cancer. Individuals can now register and help fundraise, you don't have to be part of a team, but teams are always welcome. The Relay will be open to the public, and a goodwill donation will be accepted at the door. The fundraising goal this year is $25 thousand dollars.
