The Charlotte County Ground Search and Rescue are looking for new members. An information night will be held Wednesday, March 22nd, from 7-9pm at the Oak Bay Community Hall, Route 170. A benefit dance will be held in support of Wendy Sweeney, who is currently battling Stage 3 lung cancer. Wendy has been unable to work due to surgery and treatment, money raised will help with financial burdens at this time. A fundraiser Easter Breakfast will be happening at the Anglican Community Hall in support of the Passamaquoddy Children's Center, Saturday, April 8th. 1st seating is at 8:30, 2nd seating at 10am. Serving pancakes and sausages. They will have an Egg Hunt at 9:30am, facepainting, and a craft table. Rain or shine. Tickets are $5 for kids ages 5 to 12, $10 for adults, Kids under 5 get in free, or get a family rate for $20. Tickets are available at the Passamaquoddy children's centre, 390 Montague Street, or at the door. Proceeds go to support the PCC's Arts & Crafts supplies visual arts program.
